Press Cuttings

Rumours about Mastertronics grand financial strategy surfaced from time to time, as in this news item in Popular Computing Weekly, 29 May 1986. The idea of a stock market launch was explored but there was little interest - not only was the financial record too short but micro computers (particularly in the period that Sir Clive Sinclair was forced to sell out to the new kid on the block Alan Sugar) were seen as way too risky and volatile.

I wonder who the "spokesman" was and what other "non-computer" products were being considered.
